By default Subscription Herder sends customer notifications from the email address no-reply@mail.cakewalk.dev. Both the from name and the reply-to address are set to values associated with your store. For example, if your store email address is hello@mystore.com then when customers reply to any customer notification emails they will be directed to hello@mystore.com.
However, when viewing emails from Subscription Herder customers may see the email as being sent from something like "My Store <no-reply@mail.cakewalk.dev>". This is a security feature of many email providers including Google's Gmail.
If you own your own domain and can add CNAME records to your domain then it's possible for emails to be sent from your address. In the example above the email address could be hello@mystore.com along with the reply-to address. Users would see "My Store <hello@mystore.com>". An extra step of validation is required here to ensure that you own the domain, and Subscription Herder is allowed to send emails from that domain (hence the CNAME requirement).
Please reach out to our support team (support@cakewalk.dev) if you would like to enable this feature or have any other questions about it.
